IP2Location02/03/2009We're in the process of introducing a new feature to MyTrackerSpace.com with the help of www.ip2location.com. This feature will allow you to click on the logged address and view geographical location information- such as country, region, city, latitude, longitude, ZIP code, time zone, connection speed, ISP and domain name, IDD country code, area code, weather station code and name pertaining to the specific IP address logged into the system. We are still working on a few bugs, but have released a beta version to see how well it's going to work. If you notice any problems, please feel free to contact us. Once you click on an IP address, you will be brought to a web page hosted at ip2location.com that will show you a table that looks similar to the following: 
From there you can view any pertinent information, and you can also click the "Map It" button to see where the location is in the world on a map. If you'd like to use your own mapping software, as you can see the Longitude and Latitude are provided for such a task. For instance, if you wanted driving directions you could use this information to map out a course so you won't get lost. This can be useful for MyTrackerSpace.com as it can help you identify which IP address belongs to which one of your friends. We will keep you posted on further updates to this feature.
